We are excited again. The menu is varied and vegetarians as well as meat eaters will find a very good and qualitative selection here. The to-go dishes are also great. A highlight was the stuffed goose! Dumplings, red cabbage and chestnuts were perfect.

Unprofessional and unfriendly owner. Already confirmed reservations for a group were simply canceled shortly before the celebration. Unfortunately not the first time that reservations didn't work there. There was never an honest apology.

Delicious and friendly service. Gladly again.

There is one point for the absolutely great female service - fast, super friendly, competent - great class. Otherwise: You want to be more here than you are. Obviously you can keep it that way, since people come in spite of everything. From the choice of partners, the pricing, the portion size to the preparation, some things are not right. Almost 20 euros for a simple, lukewarm roulade with red cabbage, in which a cinnamon pot fell. A drop of pumpkin cream soup as a starter (i.e. pumpkin-colored cream with a little pumpkin oil). Two kinds of pumpkin turn out to be the starter size, but should be a main course, but 2 columns (from the really cheap to buy) pumpkin and a dollop of mousse, a few more mushrooms than pumpkin - interesting. At least the taste is good. The wines and brandies are of lower taste, the organic Riesling "Stein" from Schönhals is unfortunately a small, flat wine. The one from Böhler doesn't work at all (the bottle normally costs 5 euros to buy, which is even too expensive for that) as does the Blanc de Noir. The prices for it are really cheeky. (How it can be done differently and much better is shown a few minutes' walk further) We tested three fires. All with no taste of their own, yes, including the 20-year-old Ortega - you used to say that about fuel. We wanted to have a nice evening, wanted to try the deer for a long time and just left disappointed.

We didn't have to wait a long time for the food and our drinks. That was great, because we had a huge craving that evening. All the tables were perfectly cleaned and the seating was extremely comfortable. Not only the nice staff was the absolute hit when we visited, but also the good climate. I was already Not so impressed by an inn for a long time.

5 points deservedly deserved, starting with the warm welcome from the servant Cecila, this girl you can only ask for as a boss couldn't be better a dream from the starter to an excellent beef roulade at the end of the dessert recommendation, all fantastic. A very good selection of aperitifs and excellent wines. Because the restaurant is very small, it is advisable to reserve.

The inn is truly beautifully furnished. No cheap decoration, instead the colors were very harmoniously matched to one another. The staff worked briskly, neatly and nicely. I hadn't been so impressed by a restaurant for a long time. The taste there is mostly a pleasure. The portions are an appealing and filling league.

I think the golden deer is great. A great card. Unusual and down to earth. Especially. Highlighted in taste. The wines fit. Select. And of course the beer. Prices with a little too high - therefore only four stars.

Delicious meal. Top service. I personally think that the name doesn't quite match the ambience. But one can argue about that. Definitely a recommendation.

Got the last table without a reservation. Very friendly and competent service. There are dishes that you can not find on other menus so often (or not at all) and which all tasted very good. Beverage selection regional, so I was able to discover something new (only applies to the selection of beer). We will definitely come back.

I litterally come here every week! Spend hours there. Familiar atmosphere and I get the feeling that I leave richer then I came!

Our experience unfortunately fell far short of what we expected from the great reviews. While the food was reasonably tasty and the service quite polite, the restaurant was terribly cold and smelled of BO from the moment we walked in! We initially thought this was another guest but later realized that it was someone in the staff... To literally top it all off, we ordered a chocolate cake and asked for it to be brought with a birthday candle. Despite what is typically a very standard request for a restaurant, they said they would "try to see what they could improvise" and then showed up with just the chocolate cake without a candle and without any comment or apology.

Small restaurant with down-to-earth, but still sophisticated cuisine. Very friendly service and somewhat upscale but reasonable prices. Reservation is NOT required, but is sometimes recommended.

We were at the Goldener Hirsch on Sunday lunchtime and were able to eat with 5 people without a reservation. The service was quick and friendly. Responded professionally to our extra requests. The food was very tasty. However, the dumplings were not quite through and one point was deducted. The service immediately offered us a hot drink as an excuse. Very well. The food was flavorful and a really big portion. Nobody goes home hungry here.

Great place, also kid friendly. Very good traditional German food.

Was there twice guided by the positive reviews on Google. The decor of the restaurant is very simple and elegant, which was very nice. The staff was very friendly and the food looked great, but both times the meat was very tough and dry and that shouldn't be with such prices, I have already eaten other braised beef or lamb knuckle that were perfectly cooked. Another visit there can save iChat.
